Robert “Bob” Canton is a Catholic author, international speaker, healing minister, and founder of Robert Canton Ministries. His life and work are centered on preaching, teaching, he aling, evangelization, and leading people closer to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
A Life of Faith and Service
From Cebu City to a Worldwide Ministry
Robert Canton was born in Cebu City, Philippines, and moved to the United States in 1973 after earning a degree in Accounting. Based in Stockton, California, he has devoted much of his life to Catholic faith-based leadership, ministry service, and the work of evangelization.
Known to many as “Brother Bob,” he experienced the Baptism in the Holy Spirit in 1984, an encounter that completely changed his life. Not long afterward, the Lord called him to the ministry of preaching, teaching, and healing. Since then, Bob has ministered in more than fifty countries through healing rallies, crusades, parish missions, retreats, workshops, Days of Renewal, and Catholic charismatic conferences.
His message continues to point people to the healing love of Jesus Christ, the power of prayer, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the belief that God is still active, merciful, and powerful today.
His Calling
A Ministry Born from the Power of the Holy Spirit
From the early days of his family’s involvement in Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Bob learned how to grow as a disciple and move in the charismatic gifts. This foundation led him to minister through healing, deliverance, and miracles, always giving glory to Jesus Christ as the source of every grace and blessing.
Over the years, Bob has spoken at regional, national, and international Catholic charismatic conferences and conventions. He has also held leadership roles in Catholic charismatic renewal, including service with the Alliance of Filipino Catholic Charismatic Prayer Communities in North America and the Vatican-based International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services.
